Molly Branda, the founder of Growing Up Readers, is on a mission to make reading enjoyable for everyone. Growing Up Readers is your go-to resource for accessible reading materials, engaging activities, and literacy crafts for parents and teachers.

A former special education teacher turned private reading tutor, Molly brings a unique blend of experience and passion to the table. As a parent herself, she recognizes the significance of nurturing a love for reading in children and is dedicated to helping others embark on the same journey. 

With almost a decade of experience in teaching, Molly is passionate about helping young learners become skilled and confident readers. She has extensive experience in literacy development and evidence-based reading instruction. Her goal is to equip others with the tools and confidence needed to guide children on their path to becoming successful readers.

Molly’s content is well-researched and informed by the latest findings in education and literacy research. She relies on reputable sources, such as the National Reading Panel, NAEYC publications, and academic journals to ensure accuracy and evidence-based practice. 

Molly is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and holds a Master’s in Special Education.
